WD-40 Company is proud to support the next generation of automotive professionals and enthusiasts. Through a partnership with the Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts (AXC), leading SEMA manufacturers worked alongside underprivileged teens and young adults to install parts and equipment on this WD-40®-themed, off-road-ready 2013 Ford F-150.

Work was done at the recently built SEMA Garage in Diamond Bar, Calif. This is a facility that allows SEMA member companies to test and prototype parts, try its 3D modeling and printing, and use its full-scale photo studio.

    And the Winner Is…

Congratulations to Virginia for winning and thanks again to Chip Foose, SEMA, the Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts, our generous build partners and all of you who helped make this program a success!

  • The Work In Progress

A lot of hard work went into building the WD-40®/SEMA Cares Foose Ford F-150
First, Chip Foose used a stock 2013 Ford F-150 Lariat as his canvas and sketched renderings of the general direction he wanted the truck to go. Then, aftermarket partners from around the country donated parts to give the vehicle what it needed to turn heads, perform well and be ready to go off-roading.

Check out some of the behind-the-scenes photos of students from the Alex Xydias Center for Automotive Arts working alongside leading aftermarket manufacturers to build the vehicle from start to finish.

  • Thanks to Our Partners
