A lot of hard work went into building the WD-40®/SEMA Cares Foose '53 Ford F-100.
The attention to detail on this particular project had to be exceptional in order to include modern upgrades and also make it look like the truck came straight out of the early '50s. Using the stock vehicle as a canvas, Chip Foose sketched renderings of a general direction, and then pushed the boundaries to make that vision a reality. On the doors of the truck, the Rocket Chemical Company logos were hand-painted. Under the hood, Edelbrock heads and Egge speed equipment were added to an original Flathead motor. Now, the vintage shop truck is rolling on custom, one-off wheels and is ready to turn some heads.
